Nivea latest innovation: In shower skin conditioner

Huh?! A what?! Skin conditioner? U meant hair conditioner right?
No!! It is a skin conditioner! A latest innovative product from Nivea - In shower skin conditioner.

Instructions on usage!

Skin does feel smoother after using and I supposed this product is targeted at lazy
people like me who wants improved and moisturized skin but kept giving excuses like "aiya, no time to apply so many things la". However, I spent a lot more time trying to determine whether it was washed off throughly and skin felt a little sticky. Floor was extremely slippery after using the product and it might not be appropriate for those who have elderly at home. They might slip and fall.

Overall rating: 3/5

How to differentiate between real and fake Bioderma toner

Bioderma toner has been clinching many different awards in various magazines. It is also one of the must buy item in my recent trip to Hong Kong. However, one would have notice the vast difference in prices across different shops. So do note before buying. I have saw a few fakes selling at Argyle Centre, a popular shopping spot.
Before buying, take note of the following points.

1. The sentence ' For face and eyes' must be written until the 'Bioderma' word.
2. Try to twist on the cap. If it opens easily, don't buy!
3. Check for residues in the solution.

I bought mine in Bonjour for HK$118 (500ml).

Mentholatum hand veil

Have always been eyeing this product when I'm overseas but never ever got my hands on this item as I do not need another hand cream given the fact I have so many unused ones at home. Nevertheless, I'm happy with the fact that it is here in Singapore!
The whitening hand cream has a slight scent of lavender and has UV protection while the red one is really moisturizing.
Retailing at $5.90 at Guardian.

Innisfree masks - Manuka Honey and Red Cabbage

Among so many 1000 won masks that is available in Korea, I adored the ones from Innisfree the most. Unlike many other Korean brands that always leaves face sticky after applying, masks from Innisfree are lighter in texture and leaves face refreshed and dewy after application.

Meishoku is here in Singapore!

I was so excited when I saw this at Guardian yesterday. They had finally brought in Meishoku which is a renowned skincare and cosmetics brand in Japan. However, they didn't bring in their signature skin lotion. Argh! Nevertheless, the other products got me excited enough!
One of their best selling item! Organic Rose Skin Conditioner and Gel for dehydrated skin.
For people who are a fond reader of Taiwanese and Japanese magnazines, I'm sure this
product is familiar to you. It has topped many awards and recommended countless times.
The skin conditioner has a sweet scent of rose and extremely hydrating.

Porerina hot cleansing gel for blackheads. This is nominated as the TOP 1 pore
refining cleanser in Mina Awards 2012.

Porerina cleansing mat gel.

BB powder in 2 colours: translucent and natural. Powder in translucent is very
shimmery but I feel that it is a little too white. Powder in natural is far too
white to be suitable for Singaporeans unless you are super fair.

BB cream in 2 versions: Essence cream and Matte cream with whitening plus.
I was quite disappointed with this bb cream as it makes your skin looks 'fake' as
it is too white. Its thick texture also makes it difficult to apply on.
For more information about Meishoku, go to http://www.meishoku.co.jp/ (Japanese version) or http://www.meishokuchina.com/ (Chinese version but not a complete list of products)

Review: Meishoku skin lotion

This skin lotion for oily and sensitive skin has been around since 1885 and it has since been the signature product from meishoku. It is used for the treatment and prevention of acne. It also minimizes pores.
I'm already into my 4th bottle and it is one of the best skin lotion that I have used. Used with a cotton pad, it never fail to capture makeup residue or dead skim cells. And the best part is that it will not dry out your skin and skin feels refreshed without the 'tight' feeling. However, I would not recommend this to people with dry skin as it is more of a deep cleansing skin lotion than a moisturizing one.
Since it is not available in Singapore, I always get my supplies overseas.
Where can I get it cheap cheap?
Sasa in Hong Kong: Hk$52, ~SGD$8.30
Cosmed in Taiwan: NT$300, ~SGD$12.50
Pharmacy in Japan: 700 yen, ~SGD$9.30

Review: Laneige Firming sleeping pack and ways to get it cheap!

Laneige is out with their new firming sleeping pack in Singapore. I see this product as an improved version of their award winning water sleeping pack. This new firming sleeping pack not only hydrates skin, it also restores skin firmness while you sleep. It uses SleePOP, a new technology developed by laneige, which relieves wrinkles, improves skin elasticity and restores sleep lines. It fortifies the skin barrier and prevents skin damage during daytime.
I got my hands on this new product when I was in Korea last April and it seriously took quite a long time to reach the shores of Singapore. I had been using this for a few months, about twice a week and skin conditions had improved. Skin is now more hydrated and smoother. I prefer the texture of firming pack to water pack. Firming pack is pudding like, and it is easily spreadable on the face and quickly absorbed. Unlike the sleeping mask, it does not leave a oily film on your face.
Where can I get it at a cheaper price?
Usual Price in Singapore: SGD $49 for 50ml
Korea
At any laneige stores or counters: Around SGD $30 after tax refund
Save: $19
Singapore
Qoo10: SGD $35.20 with free delivery
Save: $13.80
Robinsons sale: one water sleeping mask (usual:SGD $45) + one firming sleeping mask for $78
Save: $16

Review: Papaya Granule Peels recommended by Bella Skincare

Was at Bella Skincare for my usual facial and therapist recommended this new range of dermatological products from Korea. Got this at $45.
After using twice a week for one month, my face has less blackheads and clogs. Highly recommend this to people with oily faces and are prone to blemishes. However, this product might be too drying for people with dry skin.

This scrub contains enzymes extracted from papaya and it serves
 to remove excess keratin plugs.

It comes in powder form.

Emulsify with water and rub against your hands
