Review: Hoshino Coffee at Atrium@Orchard

'Wah! New neh!' 'From Japan one! Very popular!' These are commonly heard from people when they see a snaking queue outside Hoshino Coffee on level 2 of Atrium@Orchard. Hoshino Coffee is one of the latest Japanese cafe chains that has made its way to Singapore. However, is it worth the long wait? Is it that nice? Let's take a look!

Hoshino Blended Tea with milk, $6.80
Everyone should give this a miss. The tea just tastes concentrated Lipton tea.
Nothing special. The only plus point is that the milk is warmed.

Demi Glace Omu, $13

Must try!  The egg is so delicious. Tomato rice blended well
with the curry sauce.

Fuwa-Fuwa Hoshino Souffle, $15.80
This is a absolute must try item! The custard egg on top is so good. It is baked to
perfection!

Soft and tender egg! Yum!

Tomato rice similar to Demi Glace Omu is found below the custard egg.

Complimentary green tea ice cream with any order of one drink and
one main course if you pay by Standard Chartered credit cards.

I always very happy if I see the service bell. It saves us a lot of trouble
without the need to wave at the waitress! Just press the service bell
if you need assistance. However, this doesn't work in Hoshino. They don't
come over even if you press it for 3 times. Hmmm.. Hoshino definitely need
to work on service!

I would definitely visit Hoshino for the second time but it is not worth queuing for!
