Review: Eight Treasures Vegetarian Restaurant at Chinatown

A great option for vegetarians! It is conveniently located in one of the shophouses in Chinatown near to Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and it sparkled with its traditional chinese deco. It has an extensive menu and the dishes come in different sizes (S, M, L). However, portion size was a little small for the price paid. Service was good and food was served fast.

Ginger with Monkey head mushrooms. Yummy! The ginger flavour
broth went so well with the Monkey head mushrooms.

Kang Kong with fermented bean curd. Option for sambal chilli
instead of fermented bean curd is available.

Hot and Spicy soup. This soup is sour but it is not tasteful enough.
You can give this a miss.

Deep-fried abalone mushroom with Thai sauce.

Olive fried rice. Yummy! Salted olive has perfectly enhanced the flavour
of fried rice and the crispy bean curd skin added texture to the whole dish.

Osmanthus red date tea that tasted diluted.
